| https://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/rubbish-and-recycling/your-weekly-collections/what-to-put-in-clear-sacks-and-orange-lidded-recycling-banks/ Remember that the above is your COUNCIL KERBSIDE recycling collection and there will be other things that can be legally and successfully recycled elsewhere in some shops and some street banks etc. Don't forget to reduce your waste first using the Waste Hierarchy ie avoid or refuse unnecessary waste/gifts/packaging. Find and use Refill shops. Be careful buying in bulk or larger packets as it may fail as a concept if the box is spilled or nibbled or the kids decide they will no longer eat a particular cereal etc. Smaller fresher amounts of vegetables can be less stressful and more pleasant to manage - otherwise freeze or be creative with curries! Here's to a better, more successful and less wasteful future! |
