We need to get more working class people interested in art. The unrealised benefits economically but also socially for the country is huge. My youngest daughter loves that painting which she was privilege to see. The thought that it could be used for a political stunt is mind blowing. What if it was deemed unsafe for display to the public in the UK? An attack on public museums is an attack on the public. Surely these middle and upper class activists should target their own parents or grandparents before the general public? No? Why not? They have a higher carbon footprint after all! |
