Hello Lucille, Thank you for starting this thread and your post is very clear indeed. The only thing I would say is that Hamas is beyond despicable and I do not believe many people agree with them. My point is that Hamas is a terrorist group of the worst kind but I do not believe all Palestinians in Gaza agree with Hamas and are certainly not part of it but victims of it. It does not surprise me that Gaza has become a lawless place.  Very much like Haiti but the reasons are different.   Call them terrorists or gang leaders, they all amount to the same thing, thuggery, lawlessness and a mad desperation to govern like extreme dictators. The situation in Gaza saddens me enormously - for the Palestinians but certainly not for Hamas.
