Ivonne, if you want to talk to someone at the front door, you have to go into "live view" (the full screen view of what's happening outside at the moment). Towards the bottom of the screen you should see three icons in circles; if they aren't there tap the screen and they should appear (if you tap again they'll disappear) - the left one, in red like a handset, will exit live view; the middle one toggles your microphone on & off, tap to remove the diagonal line if you want to speak; the right hand one toggles your speaker on & off, tap to remove the diagonal line if you want to listen to the outside world!
