| Hello Sue, Great news that you have a video doorbell!! Our video doorbell is on our front door, forward facing and it is at a height where I can easily use the door viewer (peep hole?). I am not that tall (1.60m) and it works beautifully well. As for changing the battery, it is very simple and quick. Inside your front door, there will be a cover. Just lightly squeeze the sides at the bottom and the cover comes off. You will then see the bottom of your battery (in our case dark grey). Just under it there will be a silvery rectangular small button or lever. Just press it and the battery is off. To put it back, just push it up and that button will "close" again to keep it in place. Return the back of the video doorbell by slightly pushing it in.... And it is ready! I cannot help you regarding the bracket and sited at an angle, I am afraid. We also have a plug in a socket in the sitting room that amplifies the sound. We also have an app on each of our phones that also lets us know if somebody is at the front door. Our son has mastered the way of answering the doorbell wherever he is using his phone and talking to whoever is at the door. It is a very clever trick that I must learn how to do!!
