Today I saw a cyclist knocked off his bike by a man carrying items which were like long narrow pieces of wood. The delivery man off loaded these narrow planks from a van and was holding them so half the length of the planks were pointing into the road. Unfortunately a cyclist was cycling fast down the road and and smashed straight into them. Someone had shouted “look out”, but it was too late and the cyclist was knocked off his bike. I thought the cyclist was amazingly calm as he got back on his bike and cycled off. I heard someone say it was the cyclist’s fault as he wasn’t looking where was going. |
