Barbara, I think Thatcher was good at sticking up for Britain on the world stage and she was definitely a strong leader. You make a good point about Grammar schools also.
She certainly divided communities though, and I think she taught selfishness over selflessness. What she did to the mining communities was appalling and the budget cuts for public services under Thatcher was also too drastic.
But we could do with her toughness now concerning the Brexit negotiations.
