@ Paul 'Same old drivel every time'. You are so easy to wind up. Last time I looked it's still a free world to comment as we like. If you don't like someone's posts no-one makes you read them. As to why 'poor people voted for Brexit' I am well aware of why they did so. My SiL comes from one of the poorest regions in South Wales - he and his family voted to Remain; a very close friend is from an ex mining village outside Sheffield - he also voted to Remain even though his family didn't. They suffered immeasurably from the austerity measures brought in by the Conservatives and it's a given that many Leavers voted this way because it was their only way of putting two fingers up to the Government, borne out by the heavy losses the Conservatives suffered at the General Election May called the following year. BTW who are you to decide who are the 'top posters' on this forum? I have no wish, or need, to be on your list for validation. You are irrelevant. #StopBrexitNow |
