| But that isnt what i said. I said firstly that the UK was banning single use plastic before anyone else, and that the reality is that even in the more advanced EU countries you cannot drink tap water in many places; and i say that as someone who is half Italian and visits there a lot. Many of these countries have old drainage systems (which is why you cant flush toilet paper down many toilets) and so my point was that the EU has not done enough to support new infrastructure. It is crazy that in Thailand you can drink tap water and in areas you cannot then fresh water is supplied by the governments, yet in Europe nothing is done about the old systems and people buy bottled water I know you are a fan of the EU and so am i, but in this area they have been rubbish |
