I don’t understand what you’re getting at. Emma Thompson travels back by plane, because it’s the only way of travelling at the moment between the US and England, and joins a protest to encourage governments to do much more to protect the planet from enormous damage that WILL happen unless action is taken now. What is the problem? As she says, if there were alternatives she would take them, but there aren’t. So what’s the problem in protesting for green options? Surely we can all agree that there is a serious and pressing issue that needs to be dealt with in a fitting manner? That includes England. It’s a global problem that needs a global solution. I really don’t see where the sniping and bitching about Emma gets us. |
