Hi Bunny,
I think it can be changed on a future looking basis, by parliament passing an act to exclude some classes of claimants for example, or more likely an act to deny U.K. citizenship to those who fight or join identified terrorist organisations.

Of course in that case we would still need a mechanism to define proscribed terrorist organisation or the triggering of the withdrawal of legal rights or citizenship. 

As ever somewhat fraught with the potential for unintended consequences. If corbyn and McDonnell got into power then the Conservative party could become such a proscribed organisation for example!!

Easier with the current issue to get international agreement to have them all tried by an international court and locked up for life in a special facility somewhere basic, but of course our leftie luvvies probably wouldn’t agree...
