I too wonder what all that space will be used for. Can't help wondering if they'll rent it out to skateboarders. I wonder how the new configuration will work out. With the old layout, if I was on, say Platform 1 then realised a train was coming to Platform 2, even I could run around to that platform and catch the train. But the distances are now that little bit greater and I can't see myself managing it in time. And it all just seems that much further to go to get to the platforms, and to the exit when you're wearily making your way home.
