I've read the statement on this website and am amazed that so much of the planning and design work still hasnt been completed. There have been no workmen on the station for weeks! I hope Councillor Cook and whoever else has any say-so will force these people to put a workforce on get on and finish the work. It is a disgrace. Not only is the station more difficult to use but it is more tacky, more shambolic, than it ever was. The front of the station facing on to the pavement looks like something from a developing country. Is the facade not going to be refurbished?
