| Thank you both, I have read these sites, but knowledge of one's rights does not stop an arrest: this is a disturbing example: http://monaxle.com/2009/07/08/section-44-in-chatham-high-street/ Leaving aside the absurdity that if I am doing a 'reccy' I would not be making it obvious (an iPhone set to mutishot & geotag would be far more sensible), knowledge of these things is no protection from an overzealous officer in the back of a police van. I have now spoken to Wandsworth Council regarding my intention to take photographs around the borough, they firstly asked what the photos were for(??!!), and have advised me to speak directly with the police, & tell them where and when I will be taking images. |
