| That's a fair point, Peter. But someone who was born in the area, grew up there and lived there for 33 years has a right to express their opinion. Granted you mention some good reasons for shortening the pool. But Decisions this should not be decided on primarily on grounds of cost, although the other reasons you set out might be valid. Is choice not also a factor - if people prefer a 25m pool, there are other pools often only a bus ride away that they can use. Why take away the only 30m pool that is currently available? |
