| Deportation should be mandatory in my opinion but Majek cannot be deported until he has served his full prison sentence, which means he will be in the UK until at least the 2050s. Under current UK rules, foreign nationals who are handed life sentences cannot be deported until they have completed their custodial term. Are these rules courtesy of the ECHR? If so we need to leave the institution asap and put a stop to this nonsense. |
