| Two Afghan migrants are among four people charged with raping a teenage girl in Bristol home. The victim was allegedly attacked at a property in the St Werburghs area of the city on the night of November 29. Officers from Avon and Somerset Police were alerted the following day and two 16-year-old boys were arrested at the scene on suspicion of rape. One has since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue. The three other suspects were arrested on December 4. Police said this week that Afghan national Salman Habibkheil, 18, of Lockleaze, has been charged with rape and arranging or facilitating the travel of a female with a view to exploitation. Fellow Afghan national Awal Amadzai, 18, of Redcliffe, has been charged with rape and sexual assault. All four people charged over the incident appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Saturday. They were remanded in custody to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday 7 January. https://mol.im/a/15366767 |
