| I had not realized it is a criminal offense to make fun of or insult politicians in Germany. Such laws exist in other countries to protect monarchies and are regularly used to suppress opposition. It can not be good for a society not to be able to express free speech. The BBC had spitting image series were fine but a song about Starmer is not apparently? There always has to be a sensible alternative for the people to vote for. Failure to provide sensible alternatives is the real danger that the Western countries face. |
