some offbeat suggestions:

the neon of the star and garter pub was a great welcome into Putney when returning from the north side of the bridge.
I also always liked the purple and yellow spotted wall that was by the carpet shop where (superdrug ?) now is.

Exeter House has stood the test of time well.

I used to like the service station/café thing at the top of the slipway where Putney bridge restaurant is now.

how great would it have been if the Victorian arcade would have survived and, as everyone agrees, the public toilet at the top of the high st
