But he/she still needs permission to enter private property. As with TV licencing agents my understanding is that they are trespassing if entering private property without permission or a specific warrant from a magistrate. No particular issue if they are trying to stop people evading legitimate charges but there needs to be "transparency" (using the common jargon) regarding their actions. |
