| It really isn't good enough. We've been campaigning on the appalling state of Putney Bridge - and the lack of pride the council takes in its maintenance for two years, and nothing changes. It's not right that the only time the bridge gets any repairs done is when local residents or campaigners insist on it being done: this is what we elect councillors for. The buck passing's got to stop: do the necessary work and resolve who's responsible afterwards (a fact that will be revealed once you open up the surface, surely?) http://www.stuartking.net/blog/labels/Putney%20Bridge.htm |
