The Planning Inspector has already published his grounds for refusing the appeal in the form of an eight-page deliberation. The report is specific in its grounds for refusal, supporting the Planning Department's and Planning Application Committee's original refusal on certain but not all grounds. The applicants should they wish may now return with a fresh application taking into account the Inspector's findings. If it does the new application will go to full statutory consultation in which instance local residents will have amply opportunity to make their views known. The applicants may in theory appeal against the Inspector's finding, but this is extraordinarily rare and most unlikely in this instance. Cllr Leslie McDonnell East Putney Ward |
