For those whose minds may still be open on the BBC farrago I offer two pieces, one in the Observer, now detached from the Guardian by the way, and one from the Grauniad itself.

I dare say no minds will be changed at this stage now the anti-BBC camp is so completely in the ascendant (and in the case of a few of the usual press suspects, exultant about the undoubted damage done to the BBC) but here are the links anyway.  The David Aaronovitch piece is quite long while Rafael Behr (in my centrist view) is very cogent indeed in its wider analysis.  The Spectator and Spiked it is not!
