Camilla Long in today’s “Sunday Times” has written a brutal article on “Britain’s most hated woman”. Here’s some of it: “Over three days I watched in disbelief as this strange, thin streak of slopped latte gulped and blinked, then ugly-cried four times, as her job as Post Office chief executive was painfully explained back to her”. “She didn’t have a clue who worked for her, or what they did, including 100 or so thugs whose job it was to travel the land harassing /prosecuting sub-postmasters”. “Vennells happily named every single person she blamed: all, naturally, beneath her, just more nobodies she could turn over, or ignore ….” As I say, brutal. |
