| I got really sarky yesterday, I laughed with one of the fellows filling the freezers at the back of the shop. Oh there's somebody on the till, it wasn't our usual nice lady. She said I'm meant to be going to lunch as she was serving the man in front of me and by this time there were 4 behind me all wanting to be Served by a person. Still saying I'm meant to be at lunch, I said the Manager is in that aisle I call him, no no she said. Then she went on about how rude some customers are. I said well if we are meant to serve ourselves perhaps we can have staff discount, or come to your Christmas party. I told her one of the coffee shops told a lady they only take card and the lady said I only have cash, so they tipped the coffee down the sink. The reply was well everybody would be going in with cash getting a free drink if they gave her the coffee. What an attitude, we spend our money and are expected to stand and wear ourselves out doing their job. All stand at tills and show them who is boss they might change their attitude. My rant. |
