Have been involved with Wimbledon over the years. They have very ambitious plans even to change the course of the road and join the 2 areas of land with a tube extension. That’s there dream. Wimbledon Park lake and it’s views to St Mary’s church where originally designed by Capability Brown and the Wimbledon Park society are pressing to stop this planning disaster. Merton council see money and Wimbledon tennis have buckets. It’s corrupt and totally ridiculous all form2 weeks if tennis a year. Join the local protest groups to object.
