Topic: Is Putney the best place to live in UK? Or the world?

I was having a chat with the manager of Bosa restaurant today. He comes from Algeria but has worked all around London and overseas. He currently lives in Streatham.  He told me that Putney was his favorite place in the UK. Highlights being the kind and friendly people. Walks along the River before work and he described Putney as like living in the countryside but in London.
Of course I agreed with him. Born at Queen Mary's Roehampton in 1977. I indeed know that Putney is the greatest place to live in the world. I once made a terrible mistake of going to Australia for 3 weeks and was so homesick I have never been away from Putney for more than 10 days since. I missed the shops, the pubs , the River, the binmen. Also the characters such as 'diesel Devon' who drinks cans of strong lager off Putney High Street.
One thing that has also surprised me is that Putney Bridge is not the '8th wonder of the world' with it's lovely lights and incredible views.
Anyway, I assume everyone that lives in Putney thinks the same but sometimes it's worth checking?
P.S Also how do we have the second cheapest council tax in the Uk whilst living in the best town.
