Congratulations have to go to people like the CEO of Goldman Sachs who have taken the lead and said that they will keep some of these restrictions eg masks and social distancing in place.
Office buildings have had to be maintained throughout with many people needing to work to keep them operational. There are legal requirements for regular servicing of lifts and other equipment. Water in offices also has to be tested to make sure it is safe. Many workers will not be going back to working full-time in the office but will be doing more flexi-time as they have learnt to work online now and it gives a better work:life balance.
More cleaning, more spacing and better ventilation is key. Many workers will be keeping facemasks so that all personnel are safer. Hopefully in the autumn people will be more considerate if they appear to have a cold/flu and don't come into the office to share it in the same way as they did in the past in mis-placed stoicism.
