I have a nest with House Martin babies who have visited every year for at least ten years. Their nest is in the apex of the roofline at the front of the house. I am having the front of my house painted at the moment and the builders are putting a shelf under the nest to catch the droppings from the birds as it causes havoc with the paintwork on the window sills below!! |
