Yes, lockdown has made life more difficult and ww have to make arrangements to telephone. It is a shame that so many don't/can't use the internet. It gets a lot harder to keep in touch. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-vaccination-a-guide-for-social-care-staff I was just told the care homes had been done when I asked my vaccinator I don't know what the situation is with all the domestic social carers who go from home to home. Can anyone enlighten me as to what "ineligible" care homes if it is "eligible" ones who have had their vaccinations? There are a lot of unpaid carers as well as paid carers. I believe that ambulance staff ask people they take to hospital whether they are carers in case there will be someone left at home with no-one to look after them. |
