Steven, I was just following Mr Hawkes line of impertinace, such as erroneously calling me anti-American, for which he's never apologised. True, I dislike President Trump but then so do many patriotic Americans. Anyway, surely if public opinion was "overwhelming" there would have been a more substantial majority for Brexit rather than just a marginal victory. I think on might say Labour won an overwhelming electoral victory in 2024? |
