As an atheist I find it interesting all these countries - US, Israel, Iran, Russia, ... not sure about Ukraine (they're "orthodox" but separate from Russian "orthodox") trying to use "their" God - whether they call it Father, Holy Ghost, Jehovah, Allah, ... as justification ... isn't it really the same deity?
As my father used to say after his WWII experiences: "praise the lord and pass the ammunition" although with a slightly more cynical meaning than the original intention. As he said, the Germans would be doing exactly the same ...
