| I dined at Destino about 6 weeks ago. All tapas were half price and the bill was so cheap I couldn't understand how they made any money let alone pay the waiter! It sounded like they were trying to do the promotions as times were tough as I did as the waiter to recheck my bill. We were there on a Saturday night and there were only two other tables taken. One table of 5 paid about £10 each incl drinks and the other table has two students. The food was way too good to justify this low price and I did think at the time it seemed a last ditch try at getting some custom. It'll be sad to see this place go if it has indeed closed. Unfortunately it seemed local people were not supporting them. |
