| I have been in discussion with Justine Greening and a similar meeting is being arranged with Thames Water in Putney in early December. Date and venue to follow. At last nights meeting Richard Aylard of Thames Water took on board concerns of local residents that they had not been consulted widely enough and that there may be some leeway over the final date for responses to the consultation. There were a number of interesting points made last night and I will try to put them together in some form of cogent posting later. I was concerned to learn from their published papers that the St Pauls School site at Barnes was eliminated because it would mean 'the loss of playing fields and open spaces for seven years' yet this is exactly what will be happening with the Barn Elms site.
