Yes, Will's Art Warehouse on the corner of Commondale is a good place. Will is the founder of the "Affordable Art Fairs" which now run now and again in Battersea Park and other venues. It used to be The Cricketers and, for a short time, The Cyclist's Rest, which was supposed to have revived one of the Pub's earlier incarnations. Also for a very short while, not too long ago, it became a Thai Bar and restaurant with rather good food and a Thai name which I cant recall.
Indeed local parking is reasonable at the moment although getting more congested. However, if/when the old Putney Hospital is developed, I'm afraid that the local streets will turn into a parking nightmare. |
