| So what in your opinion is normal Matt? A Populus survey indicates that 70% of people believe in a God or some form of higher power with 62% agreeing it is important for children to be raised with a belief in God. You obviously do not like the facts but don't they explain why "faith" schools are consistently oversubscribed? Simple logic! The problem you have in speading misconceptions such as secularism or atheism being a majority or "normal" view (or a good thing) comes when you try to distort the truths you don't like to justify imposition of your "beliefs" on others as being the majority view. Perhaps you have been sucked in like millions of others by the zealotry of the biologist Stephen Dawkins. Every one of Dawkins theories has been dismantled but you are free to hold such minority views if you wish and without prejudice. |
