"Anyway I registered yes, but I haven't received anything since!" Unless you're in the narrow strip of one of the "Riverside Properties" areas, you are protected by the Thames Barrier. But if the Barrier failed to operate properly during an exceptional tide, you would get a text. Go to http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/floods/31618.aspx Select 'Postcode' in the 'Search by' box, and enter your postcode in the 'Search for' box. You'll then see what flood warning area(s) you're in and what their status is. |
