Mr Ixer

'From 1960 the dissipation of the Empire meant legislation gradually reducing the rights of freedom of movement to and abode in the UK for Commonwealth citizens. '

Interesting facts.

I wonder if she came here after 1960 and what circumstances gave her the right to.

None the less, what resulted was that she came, gave birth to a vicious killer who pleasingly has had his jail sentence increased and then she committed a crime essentially of aiding and abetting him by hiding his murder weapon.

And the real issue is should we not be able to deport her back to where she is from ?

And any other convicted criminal living here under whatever legal rights.

Rights that surely should be waived if crime is committed.

She will probably return later anyway to her extended family in India once she has had her fill of living here and taking advantage of the benefits of such.
