Most water meters are installed in the street and are reag remotely. Some, where there's a single ware feed to each flat, are installed inside blocks of flats; these are also usually read remotely but in some cases steel reinforcement may block the cellular signal meaning manual reading is necessary. Thames Water can advise. |
