| Just to let residents know but in Chelverton Rd about 10 this morning, a man said he was from the waterboard to read the meter. He wasn't white, had a few spanners or something in his hand, I said I haven't got a water meter. Anyway the lady upstairs ran down as he rang her bell as well. She does have a meter meter on landing but forgot so said read it outside. Anyway, he opened the Electric box in the passage and ran off really quickly and shut the front door. I put on our road site. It appears they don't come round to read it you tell them, like gas and electric. So be careful if you open the door and your on your own. |
