Yes, I agree; when one looks at the alternatives, Starmer continuing seems to be the least worst. It seems a bit shaky at times but he does seem to have a way of getting along with Trump.

Interestingly, Trump now seems ahain to be endorsing the Chagos Islands deal! And, although Trump distanced himself from Epstein, he didn't blow the whistle on what he surely must have known what JE was up to? So, if he can continue, why not Starmer who had no direct contact with Epstein, unlike both Mandelson and Trump? (OK, I know the political dynamics and structures are different in the US but ...)
