| Steven As I asked Ms Bond, what did the Erasmus scheme offer in practical terms such that it is worth us paying £570 million to participate in it ? That would fund many less well off UK students studying at UK universities which as you point out are superior to most European ones anyway. The truth is of course is that we were kicked out of the Erasmus scheme as a punishment which is ironic as the EU supposedly is all for free movement of people. |
