| The affirmative vote today is just the first stage of the process. The best analogy I can think of is when a person applies for a mortgage and it is agreed in principle; however sometimes the application is passed to an underwriter for further in-depth scrutiny. When all the checks have been done and everything verified, the mortgage is offered. This proposed Bill will be under intense scrutiny for many months (if not years) being delayed by the ping-pong process.🙄 At least that grandstanding old git Welby won't be pontificating endlessly about it. Thank god. |
