Thanks for the reply, Richard, on this non Putney story. I agree with you. Why this story is of interest in our house, is that I am married to a Bluenose (a Birmingham City supporter). Birmingham City were about 6th in the Championship with a manager doing a decent job, then they brought in Wayne Rooney and the club were relegated. Plymouth Argyle must be crazy to think of appointing Wayne Rooney. I understand he might be being considered as a tv pundit too. Surely you have to string a coherent sentence together to manage a club or be a pundit? I am told he was a QPR caretaker manager too, so I look forward to some amusing comments from the QPR supporters on this Forum, on what I hope will be a funny thread. |
