I think nearly all my friends and family have been vaccinated and none have reported any serious reactions except one after their first dose of AZ but that was because they had a known immunity system problem. They were discussing what to do about subsequent vaccinations with their doctor - they wanted protection against Covid! I do have another friend who was against getting vaccinated but then changed his mind and got vaccinated because he owned a manufacturing company and needed to travel to Europe. He moaned a lot about side effects but seems to be alive and well now! I do know a couple of friend who were seriously affected by Covid early on in the pandemic and one who died. (He was rushed in with a heart attack, was recovering after having a stent fitted the caught Covid in hospital and his body couldn't cope - he was very over weight, I think from a from poor diet.) I know a handful of people who've had Covid after two or three jabs but they have had mild symptoms and recovered in around a week. Still, technically this is all hearsay, not robust statistical evidence! |
