Adapted from elsewhere… I refuse to wear a seatbelt because: • It’s my car, my choice, my freedom. • We do not know what seatbelts are made from. • The effectiveness of a seatbelt is not proven, except by studies carried out by the manufacturers (and I’m supposed to trust them to publish the truth?). • I read on Facebook that a man was injured in a car accident even though he was wearing a seatbelt, which just proves how ineffective they are. • I saw somewhere else on the internet a post that showed the manufacturers invent statistics on seatbelt efficacy to frighten us into complying. • The reason they do this is just to enrich themselves. • If I wear a seatbelt, the government can track me wherever I go, using cameras. |
