From the chief executive of St George’s, who is probably better informed than the anti-vaxxers here:

“… not everyone is vaccinated, and the Omicron variant is spreading rapidly in London affecting everyone - including NHS staff - which is leading to higher levels of staff absence.

Data from October and November also showed that 97 per cent of our patients in South West London hospitals were unvaccinated and, in St Georges intensive care unit last week, nine out of 11 patients fighting for their lives, were not jabbed.

So, if you know someone who has not had the vaccine, please do use all of your knowledge and power to influence them to get the jab. It’s not too late and scientists have found that two doses do not give the protection we all need - we need to get boosted too.”
