Given this statement in the article: "It would also be made very simple – and very fast – to transfer Britcoin back into ordinary cash that could be taken out of an ATM" my understanding of this and from what I've read elsewhere is that the Treasury/BoE are looking at the feasibility of introducing a cryptocurrency equivalent of the current pound to run in parallel with but not a replacement for it. |
