There was a programme tonight on TV. I didn't realise that there was going to be several showing how this works (or doesn't). A new Minister every year?! https://www.standard.co.uk/stayingin/tvfilm/universal-credit-inside-the-welfare-state-bbc-two-review-a4353351.html https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/m000f1xj/universal-credit-inside-the-welfare-state https://twitter.com/TrussellTrust/status/1220276821553487873/photo/1 I noticed recently that this happened: https://www.theguardian.com/society/2020/feb/04/claimants-scared-as-full-roll-out-of-universal-credit-is-delayed-again And I completely agree about Age UK having a tremendous amount of information on their website. They can also put you in touch with other charities in your area which suit your needs and can help you. |
