Even when you are in hospital and recovering from surgery and needing as much help as possible to get back on your feet walking you are expected to sort out a chiropodist for yourself nowadays. I was told this for MIL. The waiting list anyway would probably have exceeded the months she was there. Hopefully someone will recommend a visiting chiropodist to you. Some surgeries host a visiting chiropodist as do pharmacies and maybe an organisation like Age UK does too. Age UK has lots of info online. It can be a good excuse to have a morning meet up with friends. |
